Touch! Eurodogs

Pet Pet

Finally, some damn pictures.
When I went to Europe, I was still playing Nintendogs every day. It was burrowed into my soul and essence of my being and all that garbage.

It was bittersweet to be somewhere that the game had not come out yet, because while it would have made me infinitely cooler had anyone actually known/cared, I had a very low probability of actually meeting anyone's dog through wi-fi.

However, I did end up meeting a lot of people's dogs through no-fi.

lil' golden boy
This scamp was just walking down the street in Dublin. I didn't see his trainer anywhere!

guard dog
This pup was owned (not pwned) by the lady who held the key to a castle that belonged to my family back in the 1500s or so. The dog's ancestors may have licked peanut butter off of my ancestors' junk!

clone dog?
This is a similarly colored dog from the same area. His ancestors probably supported that bloody wanker Oliver Cromwell. Now that's I've been to Ireland I'm all hyped to become a total tool about it.

so cliche'
Yep, the only dog I see in Paris and it's a poodle. Tied up outside a pastry shop, no less. And his owner gave me a snooty look for taking it's picture. Well, maybe the look was more puzzled, but wouldn't it just be so perfect if they had been uppity? Then they could've beat me with a baguette with one hand while securing their beret with the other and screaming "Sacre' bleu!". Would have been a perfect caption, Right? But it didn't happen. Damn Frenchies.

fine dog
Oops, I said the poodle was the only dog I saw in Paris, but I did see this dog in the Musee' D'Orsay, or some place like that. It looked thirsty, filthy, famished, and totally disinterested in some petting action. I don't know what it's so stuck-up about, I mean that crappy bow in its hair is totally common.

art dog
This dog was sitting quietly in the British Museum while my parents and I walked around. My parents are pretty cool about me taking pictures like this. I guess they figure it's sortof their fault.

Hummely
Walking around Interlaken at night I saw these dogs in the window of a store...

swiss dogs
Later that night my sister and I met up with some awesome swiss-bankers and played foosball and went dancing. There was slightly more to my trip than just taking pictures of dogs.

charming bear in pit
In Bern they have bears in a "Bear Pit". There's even some "Bear Liberation Front" or something to get them relocated to a better (less pit-like?) location. Whatever the future may hold, I'd definitely buy "Nintenbears" if it was released.

gurten
This dog was in a bar my sister and I strumbled into in Bern looking for "Gurtenbier" which is a Swiss beer with a bear on it. This dog's owner even sent a present!
my thumb clearly illustrates this is not a nazi-salute, but more like riding a bitchin' wave on a surfboard
Free Gurtenbier ringer t-shirts for my sister and I!

security alert
This dog was in the Zurich airport, behind a ticket counter. I would have taken a less-blurry picture, but I was concerned about looking shady taking pictures in the airport.

clever
I got a tiny bit creative at this point.

robbit
I'm not sure if I'd buy "Nintenrobotrabbits" or not, but odds are good I would.

And that's it, That was my trip to Europe. Hope you enjoyed my pictures!
Here's Dogging in NYC.
