Pumpkin Beer Taste Test 2006

Sucking the Fun Out of Drinking, With Science!

Alpenhof
this is a pumpkin beer, alright
Alpenhof
The next beer sampled was Alpenhof. This one is brewed locally, in Ellicot City, Maryland. Nathan picked it up in a growler which he had to give a deposit on. Seeing as it was local and Nathan went through all the trouble, it was quite disappointing to find that he pretty-much hated it.

It actually garnered a wide variety of opinions, with some really hating it ("No no no, no more of that!") and some really liking it, mostly girls with the exception of Patty who thought it like bad-Guinness.
