Sucking the Fun Out With Science!
This year's Pumpkin Beer tasting promised to be way more in-depth and scientifically valid than last year's. It had everything; more planning, more beers, and more participants eager to take part.
I knew some things would need to be tweaked to accomodate the increase in the size of the event, but it wasn't until I had 15 people in my living room ready to sample the 12 beers that I realized I had to back out of taking part myself if there was any hope of getting through all the beers in a reasonable amount of time.
It was sad, but a sacrifice I was willing to make for the sake of science.
With that painful choice behind me (dulled by the ability to sample the beers while I got things set-up) I got things started.
