Sucking the Fun Out of Drinking, With Science!

Pumpkin Patch
this is a pumpkin beer, alright
Pumpkin Patch
The next beer sampled was Pumpkin Patch by Wild Goose. This one had an alright showing in the 2005 tasting, and this year it had some redeeming qualities but didn't take the crown. Many found it had a very nice roasted flavor, with hints of vanilla, molasses, peanuts, and buttercream.

Comments Tasted of ice-cream(?); more ale-like than beer-like. less obviously pumpkin, but overall likable. good I SMELL NOTHING. Spicy like B, but not as good. . OK, Could not drink more than one. ROASTED FLAVOR . Nice Color best one yet very flat and light blew it's wad too early. Great look, good sip, great smell, pull-off after that. Sorry Joel, my memories ain't so good. .
Hints of smells like peanuts nutmeg, sadness. reminds me of a cold fall afternoon. BAM! . Sugar, Vanilla . . Spice buttercream molasses but not enough . . .
