Pumpkin Beer Taste Test 2006

Sucking the Fun Out of Drinking, With Science!

Shipyard
this is a pumpkin beer, alright
Shipyard
The Shipyard has a cool headless-horseman on the label, but it didn't go over well when people couldn't see the label. A few thought I was re-serving the Buffalo Bill's, probably due to a similar metallic taste being recognized. A couple did enjoy it's 'smooth' 'hit of spices on the tongue, but most rejected it, tasting hints of 'fear' and 'shame'.

Comments Good - nice hit of spices on the tongue. Not Pumpkininny. Is this a repeat? Terrible be4, still bad now. YOU'RE A SADISTICIAN . Yuk. This isn't good. Cheap attempt at marketing. SLIGHT METALLIC TASTE . Nice, Smooth . A slightly better version than "G" . Pretty flat, not much flavor .
Hints of spices Keg stands, shame. :( . . Apple Juice, fake spices. Fear. . . . . spice and ginger-ale with baking soda . . .
