Smuttynose got fairly well rebuked by the tasters this year. it hadn't done well last year, either, but this year's trend seems to have a silver lining. Many of the folks who complained of it having a 'double yuck' 'nailpolish' taste, were big fans of Jack's Pumpkin Spice, while those who disliked Jack's really enjoyed the Smuttynose.

The Smuttynose also got some interesting spice-flavors recognized, including fennel and rosemary.

Comments Super Bad Aftertaste! Disgusting, everything that is wrong with life. good beer Not as bad as G and I, but still sucks. . Tastes like Halloween nail-polish. NICE AS WELL, BLUE MOON? NO!!! :) OK but the more I drink the worse it gets. Ugh - Glad it is over Reminds me of my first love of Imperial-IPA, and that's a good thing. double-yuck The number of ratings is starting to contribute Blech! .
Hints of evil fennel, pain :( ^_^ Good Fucking Job . Chemicals, perfumey. . Chemical Burn. . Rosemary household cleaner . . .
