Swim Team Trophy

I was on the swim-team at the community pool. I hated it. I can swim, if I have to, but I don't find it particularly enjoyable and it is not a pleasant or effective way for me to travel. Plus, on swim-team you wear tiny speedo-brand-underwear to cut down on your resistance as you glide through the water. I hated wearing those and I hated swimming. I consistently came in 7th out of 8 in every race. Always just ahead of the overweight or developmentally different kid, but way behind the competent swimmers. This trophy does not even begin to justify the emotional damage I endured to earn it.
